Should I use Clean Drive app packed with Parallels/Windows 10?
I run Parallels on my 2016 MacBook Pro (Monterey). I store almost all my documents and photos in iCloud, but my rotational 500 GB hard drive is getting a bit low on storage. About this Mac>>Storage reports that I have 27.45 GB available. Parallels, on the other hand, tells me that I have "16 of 499 GB available."
First, I don't understand why one monitor says I'm down to 16 GB, but another says I have 27 or so. Parallels also nags me about running the Clean Drive app to "free up to 5.66 GB on your Mac." I've never used an app that claims to clean up my Mac, and everything I read says to start away from things like Clean My Mac and so on. On the other hand, Clean Drive I assume would confine its efforts to the Parallels/Windows partition.
I'll appreciate any advice from the experts in the Community.
