It seems like the issue you experienced with your Bluetooth audio in your 2021 Nissan Versa could be related to the interaction between your iPhone 12 and the car's audio system. While I can't provide specific information about your exact situation, here are a few general insights into potential reasons for this kind of problem:

  1. Downloading and streaming large files, such as the four new albums, might have increased the data transfer over Bluetooth between your iPhone and the car's audio system. This increased activity could have potentially led to interference or a data processing bottleneck, resulting in the popping or tapping sounds. When you deleted the albums, the data transfer reduced, and the issue disappeared.
  2. Bluetooth audio transmission uses different protocols and codecs to compress and transmit audio data wirelessly. Incompatibility between the Bluetooth protocol or codec used by your iPhone and your car's audio system could cause distortion or popping sounds. When you deleted the albums, it's possible that the audio data being transmitted became less demanding, leading to the resolution of the issue.
  3. The act of downloading and then deleting the albums might have triggered a temporary software glitch in either your iPhone or the car's audio system. Restarting both devices or updating their software could potentially resolve such issues.
  4. Sometimes, Bluetooth connections can experience temporary disruptions due to various factors like interference from other devices, signal strength, or device pairing conflicts. Deleting the albums might have coincided with a stabilization of the connection.

To troubleshoot this issue, you could consider the following steps:

  1. Power cycle both your iPhone and the car's audio system. This can often resolve temporary software glitches.
  2. Make sure both your iPhone and the car's audio system are running the latest software updates. Software updates can address compatibility issues and bugs.
  3. Forget the Bluetooth connection between your iPhone and the car, then re-pair them. This can sometimes help establish a fresh and stable connection.
  4. If you download large files while using other apps in the background, it might strain the system resources. Try downloading when the phone is less busy.
  5. If possible, try connecting another device (like a different phone) to your car's Bluetooth audio system to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with your iPhone or the car's system.
  6. If the issue persists and you're under warranty, consider contacting either the car manufacturer 2021 Nissan Versa or Apple's support for further assistance. --> Official Apple Support

Remember that these are general suggestions, and the best course of action might vary based on your specific situation. If the issue persists or worsens, seeking professional assistance from your car manufacturer's service center or an Apple Store might be the most appropriate solution.
