Mac not responding. Tried the Control/escape/options but Force quit would not “quit”

After mid nite here- fading- will keep watching for reply but please advise how I set up apt. At Bethesda/Bethesda Ave store or Montgomery Mall/Democracy Blvd. Apple Store if that is where we land.
