managed update notice for weeks

My Mac Desktop is running Ventura 13.5. For weeks I continue to get a notification stating a managed update is required, you must be plugged in and connected to wifi. I have no software updates that are needed.

The issue is this managed update is not taking place. I kept my desktop open and not logged out 3 different times. However, I continue to get the message everyday. Any suggestions?

Working with another person who has a similar issue but only on macOS 12 Monterey

There might be an Apple Application ( not System Update ) that maybe playing up like iMovie or GarageBand having issues updating to current version

Have looked for the exact posting outside of the link below - but alas have not found it - yet

That seems like some company or school is likely managing your Mac. This can happen if the computer was bought used or as an open box return, or if the Mac was purchased through a school or employer.

I have heard that sometimes a Profile can be installed from other sources, so you can try checking the "Profiles" section of System Preferences/Settings if it exists where it may provide a clue.
