That’s a good question for Apple; I’d like to say yes, because, unlike the fob, the phone’s NFC is off most of the time. But you should check with a higher authority.

And note that the vulnerability occurs when you use the fob, not when it is idle, so I don’t think a faraday pouch will prevent someone nearby from recording your unlock signal.
