I'm wanting to buy a TV Series on my Apple TV, as it is not available on any streaming sites. But this feature is not available in my country. We are able to rent movies, but not series. Is there a reason for the exclusion?
Apple sells TV shows in only just 6 countries. I kinda doubt selling TV shows is profitable enough to expand on those few legacy markets. Apple has repeatedly stated that they see subscription models as the future for streaming media.

Why are we in South Africa unable to purchase TV Shows on iTunes, but we are able to purchase / rent movies?
