How can I change the default app used to open documents from Pages to Word on iPhone?

When I’m opening documents on my iPhone it will only open in pages not word

The problem was posted previously by one of the users and I want to help. The issue concerning word app that is downloaded on iPad and it used to automatically open all files in the word app but lately it started opening them in pages instead. The solution can be done simply by tap and hold any word document in files > share > word and thats it. I hope the problem is resolved now with best regards.

How do I stop documents from defaulting to download in a specific app on iPhone? Hi - I recently acquired an App called Phomemo, which prints labels from a device I bought. Since downloading the app, every time I open a document from my files in iCloud in my iPhone, it defaults to downloading in the Phomemo app. How can I stop this? by deinstalling pages and installing word

or use directly the app Word to open the document

You can't change the default application for opening a document on an iPhone. Lemmi1963's suggestions are the only options I can think of, too.
