safari page format is different

Safari pages are formatted like a typed page and unlike normal internet downloaded pages. Also, I can't input information on the page. How do I get the old style safari pages back?

Hello MIT_64,

It sounds like you probably turned on the Reader view in Safari. To turn that off open Safari then click on Safari up in the menu bar > Settings > Websites tab, and click on Reader in the sidebar. Then make sure everything in there is set to Off.

Change Websites settings in Safari on Mac

You can also quickly toggle between the Reader and regular views by using the Command-Shift-R key combo.

Cheers!
