Need to find passcode without erasing phone. Can I do so from my iPad?

Unlocking a Locked iPhone:

No. If you do not want to ease your data, then take this in for a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. Bring a proof of purchase alongside you, or you may not be able to get back in.
