Are you migrating from a Windows PC to macOS? If so, yes, you will need apps equivalent to or alternatives to those you were using on Windows. Check with the app vendors. The AlternativeTo website can be useful here, too.
If this is a developer question—this was posted in the Developer forum—then there are no Apple developer tools available for developing on iPhone. There are developer tools for iPad (Playgrounds app) and macOS (Playgrounds, Xcode, etc.). These are available in the app store for the platform.
