shared album not updating but taking up storage

Me and my mom have shared albums for concerts we go to. I make a new shared album for each concert. Yesterday I was trimming down one of my concert videos and adding it to the shared album and everything was working going good until all of a sudden the videos stopped uploading so I went into my settings and checked my phone storage and my photos had way more storage used than it should have so I went back to the shared album and the whole 1:09:01 video showed in the shared album twice instead of the last two 10-15 minute clips i trimmed the video down to so I deleted them and the storage somewhat went down and then I tried to upload them again a little later and now my photo storage went up like double but there are no new videos in the shared album. So the videos are taking up space but I can’t see them in the shared album and neither can she.
