iTunes photo sync transfer images to wrong folders

I organize all my photos on my computer (Windows 10) and use the iTunes option to sync photos from a specific folder. For the most part all my photos are synced properly, however there are few photos that show up on my iphone 13 in the wrong folder. When I look at the folder on my computer the photo is not in that folder. The photo is not even a photo it looks like to be the thumbnail of a video from a completely different folder. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi there fcha,

When you sync photos from iTunes to your iPhone, they may not appear in the same folder format as they appear on your computer. We'd suggest making sure that both your Windows PC and iTunes are updated, as well as your iPhone. Learn how to update iTunes and your iPhone from the links below, if needed:

If content still isn't syncing, double-check which folders you're syncing on your PC and try syncing again: Sync photos in iTunes on PC with devices - Apple Support

Take care.

I'm sorry but this sounds like a very generic answer instead of addressing the actual issue. What do you mean they may not appear in the same folder? Every other picture does but I get random images that do not. What is even more puzzling is that the images that show up on the wrong folder don't even exist they are images of videos.

Yes my PC, iTunes and iPhone are up to date.
