Not able to receive android messages
I am able to receive text messages from iPhone but not android phone

As noted in the article that you posted from What is the difference between iMessage and SMS/MMS?
"iMessages are texts, photos, or videos that you send to another iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac over Wi-Fi or cellular-data networks...SMS/MMS. These messages are texts and photos that you send to other cell phones or another iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch."
Messages to and from other Apple products will be delivered via the Apple messaging service. Messages to or from non-Apple devices will be delivered via your cellular carrier. If those are not working, contacting your cellular provider may be necessary to ensure your account allows for and supports these messages.
You may first follow the guidance from If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad for the specific behavior or error that you're seeing to complete any other relevant steps but if unsuccessful reaching out to your carrier would be next.
