Cannot pair watch with garmin cadence

Since OS10 came out there is now the ability to pair speed and cadence sensors directly with the Apple Watch. However I cannot seem to pair my Garmin Cadence and speed sensors to my series 7. I go into Bluetooth and it says searching for health devices but doesn’t pick them up. They are both working on my Garmin Edge so I know they are active. What else can I do?

Apple Watch OS10 cycling speed not syncing with Health/Strava I installed the new OS on my Apple Watch 7 last night and tried out the new feature where you can connect to speed/cadence sensors via Bluetooth. The connection works easily, and after calibrating the wheel size, as it’s on my indoor bike, I did a 50 mins ride. Up until now I’ve always done my spins with the Apple Watch which then syncs with health and Strava, but only the time, heart rate etc. I now also have the speed and cadence showing during my ride in realtime, which is great, but after finishing my ride it still only syncs the same metrics to Strava as before, no speed or cadence. I checked in health and the only metrics that shows Strava as a data share is “cycling distance”, but even that doesn’t show in Strava. Can anyone help please? Thank you

Garmin Speed Sensor2 connectivity with Apple Watch SE I use Apple Watch SE to record my activities but unfortunately, it can record the distance while I do static spinning/Indoor cycling (for obvious reasons). I have recently bought Speed Sensor 2 and attached to my static spinning machine flywheel to record the distance. I am unable to sync/connect speed sensor to my apple watch so I have connected to Garmin Fore Runner 45 to record indoor cycling which records distance travelled. Question is: Any idea if I can connect the speed sensor to my Apple Watch so that I don't have to wear Garmin watch while exercising? Speed Sensor/FR45 syncs with Garmin Connect and then that syncs with Apple Health to reflect in activity feed. Any help is much appreciated.

Can you pair a cadence sensor to an Apple watch for use in a cycling class on Fitness +? Hey, I have a spin bike at home, and used to use their app for my spin classes but have moved to Fitness + and while I like everything about it, the inability to see my cadence on screen seems like it should be easily solved. But I cannot find the way to do so. Apart from using my phone to connect to the cadence sensor (the Spinning cadence sensor I bought with my bike) through a 3rd party app and then my iPad for the class and the iPhone for cadence, which seems like a convoluted workaround, I haven't been able to find a way. I saw in WatchOS 10 that I could pair the cadence sensor to my watch, but although the watch sees the sensor, it won't connect. Ok, maybe it's this sensor that is the problem, but I'm reluctant to go buy another cadence sensor until I know that someone has got this working. Any help or advice gratefully accepted, thank you!
