Pairing cellular watch with old iPhone
I have a new Apple Watch with cellular. Can I pair it with an old iPhone 10 that no longer has service an use the watch cellular to text on the iPhone?

We can help with your Apple Watch.
While you can pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone, if you have no cellular service on that iPhone, it wouldn't be able to send text messages using the Apple Watch.
You will be able to use non-cellular Messages on iMessage.
