Here is how to: Work in multiple spaces on Mac - Apple Support
I don’t know of a way to disable viewing the desktop in a specific space, but I usually go to full screen in the app in that space, and don’t see the desktop.

You can't put folders on a Mission Control Desktop. The Desktop folder shows the same information on every Mission Control Desktop.
Applications can be assigned to Mission Control Desktops, but document windows cannot. You can drag them into different desktops, but when you close and reopen, they will appear on the Desktop assigned to the app.
Thank you, Mr. Hoffman, I did work through this for a few hours and know better how to navigate. Thank you for the apple support links. Yes, I worked with split screens on three different spaces and they covered up my cluttered desktops. I read the instructions for answers I'm seeking.
I have discovered that I need to learn the differences in Ventura from past system.
Thanks. I hope I set up correctly.
