It states my iTunes account and App Store have been disabled. Can you help me fix this?

I fought a purchase on an app and won and now my account has been disabled.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12

Hi Jen, Jacob here. You mentioned that you fought an app purchase. If you used Apples reportaproblem.apple.com site and they issued you the refund, which was in accordance with the store terms of service. then your account wouldn't have been disabled. I am assuming that you instead went down the route of filing a chargeback through your bank. Chargebacks are a process which often favours the customer, but instead costs apple a large amount when you file them, charged by the card issuer, Mastercard or visa for example. So it is also within Apples TOS to disable your account and not reactivate it/


In future, make sure to use the reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund, instead of filing a chargeback with your bank.
