Short answer: no.
You’re already using end-to-end VPNs.
Long answer:
For connecting into the internal network of an affiliated organization, yes.
For testing geographically- and network-distributed websites and related web caching services, sure.
For the first-few-hops VPN apps so heavily hyped, no. Not so much. Those first-few-hops VPNs badly solve a problem which hasn’t existed for a decade or so, by wrapping a second and usually weaker and partial, not-end-to-end tunnel around the first and end-to-end tunnel (SSL/TLS) is just adding extra overhead.
