Why isn’t my MacBook turning on even though it is plugged in

It had died so I started charging it but every time I was charging it, it would say it wasn’t plugged in so I changed outlets. Now it won’t even give me a sign and is just black. Even when pressing the power button it stays black and is unchanged. I had it charging for 15 minutes to see if it would help but it’s still black with no signs of anything.

Troubleshooting Mac Power:

A. Black Mac Screen:

Go Here: If your Mac doesn't Turn On or Start Up - Apple Support

Using External Devices: Try Resetting the SMC and the NVRAM:, but this time, using an external keyboard. Connect an external monitor and see if you get an output.


B. Mac Power Issues:

Try a New Charger:

If it is currently charging from a charger, then use a new charger:
