Recovery mode:disk doesn't show up when reinstalling Mac OS

Im in recovery mode reinstalling Mac OS however my disk doesn't show up.

Diffferences on Utility Disk between normal boot and Recovery mode After an attempt to format a fake USB key (I know it's not done...) I noticed that Macintosh HD is not displayed in utility disk in normal boot. A snapshot is clearly visible in its place. Instead in Recovery Mode everything seems to be fine. Recovery Mode - what do I do? I’m not very good with Macs, or PC’s and I’ve clearly tried something way out of my skillset here, and need help from clever people to get my Mac mini back to normal. Many people on this subreddit suggested I install ‘Ubuntu/Linux’ - this deleted everything on the Mac (I think) - which I’m fine with, but I think it’s somehow deleted the OS? I found Ubuntu pretty awful so I re-booted the Mac in recovery mode and was presented with 4 options 1. ⁠Time Machine back-up (I have none) 2. ⁠reinstall Mac OS X ‘set up and install a new copy of Lion’ and it goes through the proper way of installing Mac OS X 10.7 (tries to verify with Apple, then fails, saying an error occurred) 3. ⁠Open Apple Support Communities for help 4. ⁠Disk Utility (repair or erase a disk) I’m now on Option 4, my last hope, and clicking on the ‘525.11 GB Crucial SSD’ - it won’t verify or repair it. I can click on ‘Mac OS X Base System’ but Verify & Repair are greyed out. I can erase but I am scared to press that. Does anyone know what I should be doing here? All my own fault for F’ing about doing fancy things, 100% aware of that! I think my next step is something to do in Disk Utility, I just don’t know what it is. I don’t want the latest OS, just want to use the Mac Mini on a very basic level with OS X Lion.

Getting a Drive to be Seen:

Mount the Drive:

Boot into Recovery Mode (Intel or Silicon) . You need to click the “Mount’ button to proceed. So, select the drives, and then click "Mount" Try rebooting once more. If of no success, then click unmount button, and then the mount button. Try rebooting once more. It looks dulled-out. So, if you cannot click it, then click the First Aid button to fix this volume.
