Google LLC using a lot of storage data

Google apps have acquired a reputation for using storage and processor and memory resources for doing who-knows-what. As was mentioned above, remove the Google, Maps, Yahoo, and related apps, and also remove the Google-related cookies and data within Safari, and check again. And if you’re using other Google services such as Google docs, those too can also use local storage.

Delete the apps and redownload.

One option would be to start deleting Google apps, such as Google Maps, Chrome, Google Earth, Youtube, etc until you find the one taking the most amount of storage space. Google is known to hog any space available. They are in the data harvesting business.
