Downloading podcasts for MP3 from my Mac OS Ventura to Naenka Runner Diver 2 headphones.

Bluetooth does not work in water. I need to download podcasts from my Mac to my new waterproof headphones to be used in MP3 mode. What are the steps? Why doesn't Apple make waterproof headphones??

Thanks for any suggestions.

It is not an Apple Issue. Apple does not control or have anything to do with the way 3rd party devices have music transferred into them.

The device manual or website must identify the way to transfer content to them.

It appears going by the Naenka website that they should appear as a USB drive on the computer when connected using their charging cable. Then you just drag the AV,FLAC,APE,MP3,WMA files onto it. It does not appear to support Apple's AAC format, so you will need to cover the files to a compatible format.

Again, Apple has nothing to do with it.

Apple's podcasts should download as MP3.

If they are downloading as AAC, (Apple Audio Codec) then you will need a 3rd party app that can convert them to MP3.

You can find the downloaded podcasts from the Podcasts app, in ~/Library/Group Containers/243LU875E5. groups.com.apple.podcasts/cache

You can the drag and drop them into the headphone drive in Finder from there.

Hey Phil. I have an old Macbook Air running Mojave 10.14.6. There I can just drag the podcasts out onto my desktop and from there into my mp3 player. Later versions of the OS don't have that option. It's so easy. That's why I don't upgrade it. Going to the group containers etc is so cumbersome. Why do you think Apple no longer have that simple option? Thank you.
