How do I determine AmEx gift card balance or account number in apple wallet?

Can't determine AmEx gift card balance or account number in apple wallet . I loaded an amex gift card into apple wallet and do not know the balance. it does not show in wallet and the amex website requires the full account number which I can't find. How do I determine the balance or get the account number so I can go to the website. Maybe I am missing something obvious, but I no longer have the physical card bc I loaded into wallet, so there must be a way to see how much money is left. Ideas? Thx

Full number is not available. Only the last 4 numbers are available. Apple does not have the full number. When the card is added, the number is encrypted and only American Express has the key to decrypt the number. Please contact the American Express Gift Card team for additional support.
