Family sharing

My daughter has recently gotten a computer and phone and I set up Family Sharing to get her started. Every time she tries to download a new app, I approve them, but it does not work. Why? What could be causing the problem?

Some of the steps in this article may help with the issue you've described: If Ask to Buy isn't working

1. Make sure that both you and your child have updated to the latest iOS or iPadOS on your iPhone or iPad, and the latest macOS on your Mac.

2. Try changing the name of your device, and check that you and your child's devices have different names. To see and change the name of a device, go to Settings > General > About > Name.
