Right size all columns choices permanently!?

Right size all columns choices permanently

Every time I open a new finder window, the default setting for the column width is switched back (to size adjustments), regardless if you have selected "Right Size All Columns Individually" before.

Was really hoping after so many years and so many similar requests that this function would finally appear in Ventura. Can we please allow for preferences like "Right Size All Columns Individually" to be created so that the finder window retains your choices?

You don't want to change the name of the home folder or user account.

First, make sure the Home folder is checked in Finder > Settings… > Sidebar. Then select the Home folder in the Finder Sidebar. Any adjustments you make there will be used for a new folder.

FWIW, any preexisting folders would have to be set individually. If you set the Home folder the way you want, any new folders should follow the settings.
