Speak Screen on iPad.

Last week, my speak screen stop reading when it turned the page. There were no issues before that. Did something happen during the last update?

Hello Cathycjr,

The Spoken Content function is something in the Settings menu, which is impossible to delete and re-install as Settings is built directly into the operating system. It's not an app, so not sure what you deleted and re-installed on the device.

If the Speak button is not working after turning the Spoken Content option off and back on then you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support

Cheers!

Hello Cathycjr,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here.

Have you tried restarting your iPad since this issue began to occur? If not, then that is where we'd recommend starting since restarting your device can often resolve unexpected issues such this. Here is how to reboot your iPad so you can test: Force restart iPad - Apple Support

Once you've rebooted, test the issue again. If it's still occurring, try disabling this feature and re-enabling it to see if that may help get things working again. This article has the information you'll need to give that a shot: Hear iPad speak the screen, selected text, and typing feedback - Apple Support

We hope this does the trick for you!

Cheers.
