iTunes not saving music collection

My iTunes library file is not saving any of the actual music collection I've imported. Whenever I close iTunes (Apple Music player) , I re-open to my entire music collection gone. I need to solve this asap as I DJ and have a show in a few days. Is it the size of the collection? 140K...Do I need to allow it to finish determining track volume etc? This is on a fresh install of Ventura & newly created Music Library file.
