New iPhone 6 S Boot Loops when connected to power

I opened a brand new iPhone 6 S. Out of the box, holding the power button does not make it turn on or show an out-of-battery indicator. When I plugged it into the outlet, it starts boot looping indefinitely every few seconds. Unplugging it while doing so causes it to die again. I left it on the outlet for some time and it still boot loops. I tried connecting it to my MacBook and tried to force restart it with no luck.

Um.. that's unlikely. That model was discontinued 5 years ago.

If it was actually a sealed from the factory iPhone 6s, the battery is probably toast from being left without a charge for so long.

Return it and get your money back. It's barely worth the cost of a battery replacement.
