i don’t use a payment method
it keeps saying i need a payment method whenever i do not use a payment method and it does not allow me to use my app store unless i add a payment method which i am not doing

Why a Method of Payment is Required:
You need at least on Method of Payment assigned to your Apple Account. This is because even free apps have the option to purchase items from within them. Go here: Add a Payment Method to your Apple ID - Apple Support
