Phone says I have 2 SIM cards in settings. I only have 1. Says no sim. SIM card in phone. Been to Best Buy twice already

i have a new phone - it has a SIM card. Took out the tray reinserted. The phone thinks I have another sim card
now after going to Best Buy it says no sim under settings
