Checking Null when attempting to install Monterey OS Upgrade

Back Up all your files of course before you do this on a Thumbdrive


New to this so I am posting the question and the solution that worked for me with the Intel Chip

Shut your Mac down. Power it up and immediately press the "Option" "Command" "R" keys at the same time and it will boot up to the Internet Installation Screen and follow the prompts (very easy)


I had to do it 3 times before I was able to install Monterey OS so maybe using a Network Cable instead of Wireless might help

I think this is easier and more straight forward: Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support


Plus the fact when you're done you have a bootable flash drive available already if you ever need to do it again.
