Fitness app logged in with wrong iCloud account.

The fitness app says the name and email of the account with Apple Store access, not the name/email of the ID logged into the phone and watch.


How do I change the account in the fitness app to the Apple ID of the device the fitness app is installed on?

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.


We understand you'd like to make sure you're logged in with the correct Apple ID for the Fitness app. Is that correct?


We have some suggestions:


  1. On your iPhone, check the Contacts app and your contact card. Make sure this has the correct name and email address associated with it.
  2. Open the Watch app on iPhone and then go to General > About. Make sure your name is listed.
  3. In General, tap on Apple ID to ensure your Apple ID is signed in.
  4. In the Health app on iPhone, tap your profile picture at the top-right then tap Health Details. Make sure your name is correct here.
