My iPad Charging Pin have Corroded

My ipad has gone to the service and they told me that ''your pin has corroded cause of humid air and this problem is not in the warranty because it is a user mistake.'' Hey Apple, air's humid level is not in my response. I am a student and I can't afford a new iPad. I bought the iPad because of it's quality but now i am regretfull for it's fragility.

Please help me Apple

Showering in the bathroom, especially with a bathroom door closed, and how hot a shower you take CAN generate a copious amount of moisture. If any mirrors in the bathroom are fogged up during and immediately after your shower, this fogging IS moisture/water.

Imagine the whole bathrroom full of this amount of moisture, not just what is stuck/fogged up on the bathroom mirror.

Any significant moisture/water is bad for any electronics devices.

Mobile devices and most electronic devices are NOT waterproof or even water resistant.

About the only Apple product that is water resistant are Apple Airpods, but I still would NOT use these in the shower, for fear the force of water on your body and over the Airpods could allow water/moisture to enter the AirPods and shorting them out.

Water and ANY electronics DO NOT MIX!
