does family sharing help with storage
My iMac is out of iCloud storage, but I have Family Sharing on another device, and thought that would provide storage on all our family devices.

If you have iCloud+, the storage in your plan will be shared by everyone in your family sharing group.

Family sharing is determined by Apple ID, not device. So, if your other device is using the same Apple ID, you don't have family sharing.
