Sleep app showing incorrect in bed and asleep times

My new Watch Ultra SLEEP app does not show correct in bed and asleep times. Example: last night I was in bed 8 ½ hours but app showed 19 hours and 58 minutes. Time asleep was 8 hours and 10 minutes and the app showed 17 hours and 37 minutes. Why? Can’t find any way to edit. Suggestions.

Hi there Stonyman2,

You'll want to start by making sure both your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone are running the latest software versions, which are watchOS 9.6.1 and iOS 16.6. You can see the versions that are currently installed by going to Settings > General > About on each device. If needed, learn how to update your iPhone and Apple Watch using the links below:"

If both devices are updated and you're still not seeing accurate data for your sleep, make sure you've set up a sleep schedule.

Apple Watch tracks your sleep based on the sleep schedule you create. Apple Watch can also track your sleep when you manually turn on Sleep Focus. To receive sleep data from Apple Watch, it must track your sleep for at least four hours each night.

If your sleep schedule is set up the way you'd prefer and you're still not seeing accurate results, make sure you're following the suggestions below:

If you paired your Apple Watch after completing Sleep setup, you can still turn on Track Sleep with Apple Watch. In the Watch app on your iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then tap Sleep. Then tap Track Sleep with Apple Watch to turn on this setting. To get the most accurate results when wearing your watch to sleep:
* Turn on Charging Reminders. On your iPhone, open the Watch app and tap the My Watch tab, then tap Sleep. Tap Charging Reminders to turn on a reminder on your Apple Watch to charge before your Wind Down time. If your watch battery dies, it won't track your sleep data.
* Make sure that you're wearing your Apple Watch at a comfortable fit. If your watch is too loose, the accelerometer might register too much movement during your natural sleep.

These details can be found in this support article: Track your sleep on Apple Watch and use Sleep on iPhone - Apple Support

If you still need help, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Apple Support

Take care.

The iHealth app tracks sleep incorrectly and does not allow for editing. Since I am on CPAP, my sleep is truly tracked by my CPAP machine which sends my sleep data to the maAir app, which provides a more accurate reading of my sleep. Can the iHealth app be configured to receive data from my CPAP, so that it provides a truer picture of my sleep and others that may use a CPAP?
