Why can’t we use a gift card like a vanilla gift card
I just bought a vanilla gift card from family dollar and ive been trying to figure out how to add it as a payment method but it either says payment declined or contact apple

Gift cards are not debit or credit cards. Use the Vanilla card to buy an Apple gift card in a retail store, then redeem that card to your account.
