iphone settings running in background 24/7

When looking at screen time it shows my settings app running constantly in the background. I have rest the phone, but it doesn’t change

I want to turn off my Background App Refresh on iPhone 14 Pro Max After moving my data from my former iPhone SX Max to iPhone 14 Pro Max, i have been struggling to turn off my Background App Refresh. Background App Refresh … This seems to be a problem. I recently upgraded to iPhone 14, when attempting to turn background app refresh off on several apps, I noticed the Background Refresh is in ON position, Greyed Out and on WIFI… Most techs are telling you to go to a low battery position to turn background app refresh off…I just want to be able to toggle a few apps into the OFF Background App Refresh BUT there doesn’t seem to be any way to change it! How do I changed my Background APP Refresh from Wifi to Wifi and Cellular (when greyed out in On Position in Wifi) Once I’m able to toggle it off or on Wifi or Cellular, will I be able to turn off Background App Refresh on other apps. Get back to me with an answer on this as soon as someone out there knows.

Hello rronisi,

If Screen Time is showing inaccurate usage, you'll want to make sure you've covered the basics like restarting the device and making sure it's up to date.

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone

Also, make sure you've tried turning Screen Time off and back on.

If it is still showing inaccurate usage, you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support
