Is there a timeline for when Apple Music will increase the 100,000 song limit on library storage? I need to decide if I need to switch services, but don’t want to go through the hassle if there is an update on the horizon.

Do your Part: Provide apple feedback, informing them of this. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on and what fixes to include in updates to come.

Thanks for letting the word out. Apple will know nothing of this, if you do not spread the word. I'm sure many others out there have the same recommendation to make. Question is: "Just how many people have recommended this to Apple?" Having done so yourself, then others have yet to do their part.

I too am waiting! It's ridiculous that the limit is there...and also that it doesn't play by the rules they claim. It's song on your library in total. Regardless if you've uploaded them, matched them, or are just streaming them. I'd be happy to pay more to double the 100K. I'm having to constantly delete tracks I'd prefer to keep in my library.
Yes, I've submitted a number of feedbacks over the years, and I submitted another just right now. This was instituted in 2015, and it's almost 9 years later. It's so antiquated. Spotify now has unlimited. Apple used to be the leader. Now, Apple isn't even following! As a music fan, it truly saddens me. What was a joy to use with ease and fluidity has now turned into something I'd expect out of a PC. Wherever anyone can complain is good. The more that know of this problem can hopefully instill a change for the better. The solution of eliminating or even just doubling the limit would solve the problem so easily. I hope "they" do so.
