How can I know if someone blocked you from iMessage?

They can’t block your from receiving certain notifications. If they block you, they don’t get your message nor your calls.
One tell-tale sign that you’re blocked is if you call the person, and the call immediately goes to voicemail. But trying this only once is insufficient. Try it a few times over a period of time, and at different times of the day. If the calls always go straight to voicemail, there’s a good chance you are blocked.
Other than that, there’s no way of knowing if the person has blocked you, other than asking him/her directly.
