How do I update my iCloud storage payment method?

I want to change my Apple Pay credit card. Apple Pay is not allowing me to switch because The existing one is linked to my iCloud storage subscription. How do I change my iCloud subscription to the new credit card

i Want to update my credit card information to pay for the icloud.

Instructions below state:

Update your payment method on a Mac

1. Open the App Store.

2. Click your name or the Sign In button.

3. Click Account Settings.

4. Next to Payment Information, click Manage Payments. (If you're using an older version of macOS, click Edit next to Payment Type.)

5. Click Add Payment, then enter the new payment method. Click Done.

Problem is there is no 'Add Payment' shown and I can't remove the old card.

I have 5 cards in Apple Pay.

Your iCloud+ subscription is charged like all payments, using the top payment method and charging down the list until one works (if applicable/you have multiple methods added). You need to have at least one working payment method (preferably the top one) - If you need to change or update your Apple ID payment method - Apple Support

As requested I have updated my payment method for iCloud storage but the request notification is still on the”Settings”App.How do I get rid of it

I think Apple have stopped supporting a different payment method for iCloud and App Store. I got the same email. I paid for iCloud with my credit card, but i don't want to add my credit card to App Store, because it is too easy to buy stuff from the App Store. So i think i will cancel iCloud and use a different cloud provider, instead.

(Also don't trust apple with my Credit card number!)

Your Apple ID payment method is used to pay for iCloud. You can change it with the steps for your device in the below link:

...I just responded to you with the solution earlier. Or you want to change how much storage you're paying for? To change your iCloud plan, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Change Storage Plan.
