I have forgotten my Outlook mail password. How can I recover it or set a new password?

How do I recover my iCloud email password on Outlook? I have forgotten the password associated with my iCloud email account. It is different to my Apple ID password. I know this because I'm trying to add my icloud email account to MS Outlook 2019 on a Windows 11 desktop so my various email accounts are together. The Apple ID password is not accepted by Outlook. changing password for "smtp.mail.me.com" server Cannot access my outlook nor apple email using Windows 10 Outlook Mail App because it wants a password I can't remember. Others say to use your Apple ID PW, but I tried that and it doesn't work. How can I reset this password? I don't know what "account settings" I'm supposed to look at, would it be Outlook, and where's that?
