On iPhone XR, I accidentally tapped IGNORE on left swipe options when looking at a family email. How do I restore this? Where did it go? I must be able to receive all future emails from this person. TY.

We have a great support article that might help with this. Please take a look at it here: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. Under the "Manage your blocked phone numbers, contacts, and emails", it explains that to remove someone from blocked status, you should: "Go to Settings > Mail. Under Threading, tap Blocked." When an email message is marked as blocked, the email will go to your mail account's trash folder.

This is incorrect. I have looked in “blocked” emails and the email I IGNORED is nowhere to be found. Idk if apple updated this since this question was asked but I’d like to get the correct answer as this was a VERY IMPORTANT email I accidentally ignored. So any other suggestions because it’s not anywhere in “trash” or “blocked”
Who provides your email service? I cannot find an option to "Ignore" any email.
