iCloud photo naming conventions

Hi! I am a forensic examiner. I am trying to explain some information in a case. When I parse icloud photos I see that there is a metadata.txt file that appears to contain metadata stored externally to the photos. However, when Apple sends out the information they send the photos with the original file name (e.g. IMG_44.JPG) but store the metadata using the name icloud creates for the photo when it is uploaded (e.g. AXfWa5zF8gb8hUh4YTMaQ6GHRByU). I understand this is so that the photos are stored with a unique name but I am trying to figure out how to associate the two names so that I can utilize the additional information available in the metadata.txt file. If I search by photo size I am able to find the correct metadata but for forensics purposes this may not hold up in court as multiple images could be the same size. Is there away to associate the iCloud Photo name to the original photo?
