Access from guest to host in a virtualization machine
I'm using UTM with the option of to use the virtualization way, so I installed an ARM64 guest.
Until here, everything like a charm.
But later I tried to access an open port on the host, from the guest, and it can only connect to port 53.
Like if everything is denied except the services used by the virtualization software to make the VM work.
I tried with shared an bridged network, and finally I could connect from the guest to the host with the QEMU emulation way and an VLAN network type adapter.
I need to use apple virtualization way because it works smarter, but I can't run the software I try to connect to the host, from the guest, in the guest because that will cause a lot of resource wasting and bad user experience as everything works better on the host.
Can you please, provide me the information need to know if it's because some security policy that can't be bypassed, or is it going to be configurable in a future or if already it is?
