I have a brand new iPhone 14 pro max. My charger and charging cable get too hot while charging in a way that sting my fingers (especially the head that is entered in the phone). I am using the original cable that came with the phone. What should I do ?

Is the power adapter you are using to charge your new iPhone made by Apple or another third-party? Regardless, during the charging process, both the adapter & the cable may get warm, but should not be "too hot to touch."
If they do, it could be for any of the following reasons:

I have the exact same problem same phone iPho 14 max pro! It gets so hot, even if there’s nothing charging on it! It also seems to brake my older apple cables (I’ve had to buy a load of type C type B converters so I can plug the cables into my old Apple chargers / Wallwarts
