Unable to create new playlist

Recently, I’ve been unable to create a new playlist. It just freezes. I’ve also noticed that any new music I try to add (have iTunes subscription) is no longer appearing in my Recently Added section. My software is up to date on ver. 16.6. I have tried rebooting my iPhone.

If you're seeing odd behaviors with the Music app, especially if you're noticing that the app itself becomes unresponsive when attempting specific functions, it'd be best to follow the steps from the If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open, as they deal with this issue specifically. Do keep in mind that if you have any songs downloaded to your device for offline listening, you may need to redownload them after some of the listed steps on the above page.
