Finding text in Gmail on iPhone

Hello! I am writing a long email in Gmail, so I keep forgetting some parts I've written already and need to recall them. How can I search for a word or a phrase on the Gmail app page that I am currently writing on iPhone?

Gmail text search problem on iPhone Hello! The Gmail team is not responding to this question I originally posted here, no reply in more than a week already. Is it a taboo subject to ask iPhone-related questions on Google platforms and this is the reason why I can't even find features as basic as plain text search in a message being composed in the Gmail app for iPhone, can anyone comment on that a little bit, please? Shouldn't it be the duty of iOS to provide such a plain text search feature over all apps on iPhone?
