My Apple Devices - iPhone 12 & Mac has been comprimised!!!!!!! Malware Somewhere - Help

I was an android user, but recently switched over to iPhone for more security and privacy. For the most part, it's still true that iPhones, if the software does not have any interference, it works as it should.

But I do feel I am the victim and target of someone or some entity that is either really rich or really smart and rich people or business. I was actually a driver and at one point, my phone was hacked and turned off. This is something I still need to deal with on all different levels. I'm generally optimistic and try to see that light, no matter how dark the tunnel is.

And so.., the driving company, I believe with its sophisticated and tech savvy people working behind keyboards may be behind this. But how do they bypass my phone company and Apple to hack into my phone and turn it off? Or is this something much darker or and not as black and white. Or is the light or darkness coming from...within? And is this an inside job?

And faster forward....

I got a new iPhone and new Mac. -

My iPhone 12 was working fine. Up until I recently downloaded 2 apps from the Apple Store. Before this phone, I had previous issues with other iPhones, which even with newly purchased, never before used iPhones and from an actual Apple Store, when I diagnosed it, those new phones were diagnosed as having firmware issue (specifically - at the Apple Store in Emeryville, CA.) I asked that apple advisor what should I do, she said maybe to think about using Android. I had thought maybe it may be a carrier issue, but after switching cell phone carriers, I ruled that out. The problem still followed me no matter the carrier or whether I bought the phone from an official place like an Apple Store or somewhere else.

If someone has access to my info, as an Apple user, will this problem persist and follow me?

One of the software I noticed, which is a red flag and I believe this to be a malware/ virus/trojan - I'm not tech savvy, but whatever you want to call, its a malicious software. I recently researched it here in the community support and do not believe it's simply an old built-in app. Even if it is, how is a big tech enterprise such as Apple with all its engineers and smart people, cannot figure out a way to remove it if it's been around for so long? The Keyboard Data Chinese and Japanese, I saw that app (only) after I try to backup my new phone. That was the only unknown app which I did not download.

This poses one major question, can all apps that is available in the Apple Store?

Backstory:

After downloading the school app to update my phone and email, which it made me confirm of my info within the app. After confirming, I noticed a weird message that there is an "undeliverable message" sent through that apps portal" via that email I used. I never sent or use that app to do anything, other than to update and confirm both my phone and email info. And then I got a phone call from the school district as I recognized the incoming call. As soon as I picked it up, the phone call ended without hearing anyone on the other line. It's unusual for a school district to call and not have anyone on the other line. But a day later when I checked my call log, that same number showed there's an "outgoing" call that lasted 17 seconds. I never made that call. So I believe through the app store, and that app I downloaded, it introduced some sort of Malware onto my iPhone. And now, after using the same Apple ID with my Mac, the Mac seemed to insecure in all sorts of different ways. One red flag, after I went to sleep, I woke up to having my phone numbers (a trusted number for my devices) removed from both phones.

My experience so far poses these questions:

  1. How safe are Apple products, even if we do what we are supposed to do...such as not having other people use our phones, devices, not jailbreaking, upgrade to the latest software version.
  2. Are Apps in the Apple Store as safe as we like to think?
  3. The Apple Software that are updated and us downloading it, does it fix problems like mine?
  4. Are developers that have Apps in the App Store vetted, and in what ways to make sure the apps they are putting out are legit and safe to use?

This particular item has come up many times here, all Apple devices include Chinese and Japanese keyboards, and the data backup is normal behavior. As far as I know it has never caused a problem for anyone. See

Side note - I recently followed the documentary about tech companies and morality. How far will people go to gain material possession..such as money. And do tech companies follow ethics as they should?

  1. What about Algorithms - Are they as random and baseless as we think?
  2. Is money still a driving force, no matter the cost to peoples lives?

I will leave the community forum with these questions for now.

Thanks Tom!
