Strikethrough (or cancel) Calendar events

Hello JRM911,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We see you want to cancel an event on your Calendar app but keep the event on the app. This currently isn't possible, but we encourage you to leave feedback for Apple to let them know you'd like to be able to do this in the future:

Please make the strike through feature on iCal a reality. I become more motivated when I see my things to do, completed events with a strike through. I think there are many people who would agree.
