FedEx stole my new iPhone Max

FedEx dropped off a package. Went to the porch and saw the tape on the box had been removed and phone box was completely empty. I live on a farm so had to be taken by fedex. Super bummed. Now worried about ordering one again. An hour from nearest store. How can I protect my order and my trade in on the way back?

What can I do if Fedex loses my iPhone trade in kit during the delivery? I shipped my trade in with Fedex, using the trade in kit I got, and its been delayed for over 10 days from the expected delivery day. i understand a third party has to evaluate the devise before I get my money back, but since they haven’t gotten the devise, and who knows, they might never get it if it has been lost by Fedex, will I still get my money, or does anybody know what I can do? FedEx lost trade-in iPhone I just received an email that Apple did not receive my iPhone 13 Pro Max, therefore I was responsible for the remaining loan payments on that phone. However, I have a receipt where I dropped the phone off at a Walgreens for FedEx pick-up with the tracking number showing this. It also shows FedEx picked up the package the next day, but since it was picked up there has been zero movement on the device. Being that I returned the device, it hardly seems fair that I am held responsible for paying off a phone I returned but the carrier they require you send the phone back through manages to lose it. I’ve contacted Apple Support who submitted some sort of claim and said I should hear back within two business days, but I’m just curious if anyone has had any luck in getting these cases resolved. Reading through the forums aren’t giving me much hope. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Unfortunately, there are way too many stories like this appearing on this support site. It's a hassle to make the trip, but that is all that we could really recommend at this point.
